[WASHINGTON, DC]—THINKP3, a boutique consulting firm focused on public-private partnerships of all types, announced today that P3 critical infrastructure security expert and former senior Congressional staffer Amanda Parikh has joined the firm as Vice President of Legislative Strategy and Policy Development.

Parikh joins THINKP3 with extensive policy and legislative experience in security sector public-private partnerships, after serving for nearly ten years as senior staff on the Committee on Homeland Security in the U.S. House of Representatives. Parikh has seen first-hand the importance of public-private partnerships to protect the nation’s critical infrastructure, and is committed to creating new opportunities for THINKP3’s clients.

THINKP3’s president, Marshall Macomber, said he was thrilled to welcome Parikh to the team:

She brings to THINKP3 a deep background of legislative know-how and strategic insight in the transportation, security and infrastructure sectors, and will help our clients create new and specialized opportunities to help government deliver services in a cost-effective and timely manner.”

Prior to joining ThinkP3, Parikh was Staff Director of the House Committee on Homeland Security’s Subcommittee on Transportation Security. In this role, she served as a top policy advisor to five Chairmen, including Michael McCaul (TX), Peter King (NY), Mike Rogers (AL), Richard Hudson (NC), and John Katko (NY). She also co-wrote “Rebuilding TSA Into a Leaner, Smarter Organization,” a comprehensive Committee report issued in 2012.

Parikh previously directed the Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness, Communications, and Response and was responsible for oversight of FEMA’s homeland security grants to State and local governments. She also handled border security, visa security, and immigration issues during her tenure at the Committee.
